Get ready for the biggest weekend of the summer! On Friday 10th July and Saturday 11th July, Sanders Park will transform into a vibrant festival of big-screen magic, live music, incredible food, and non-stop family fun.

Run entirely by a dedicated team of local volunteers, the Bromsgrove Carnival brings our whole community together to make lasting memories while raising essential funds for brilliant local charities.

Bring your family, round up your friends, grab your camp chairs, and let’s make it a weekend to remember!

Bromsgrove Carnival Cinema Under the Stars

We are kicking off Carnival weekend with an incredible double-feature outdoor cinema experience on the main field! Relax under the open sky and enjoy the ultimate big-screen atmosphere.

The Family Matinee: Zootropolis

  • Gates Open: 4:00 PM | Film Starts 5:00 PM
  • Join Nick and Judy on the big screen for an epic family adventure! It’s the perfect Friday afternoon out for the kids. Grab a spot on the grass, enjoy some early tea, and soak up the sunshine.

The Evening Party: Coyote Ugly

  • Gates Open: 7:00 PM | Film Starts 8:00 PM
  • Unleash your inner wild side for the ultimate 2000s party classic! Gather your crew for a legendary night out under the moonlight with a fantastic festival vibe.

Tickets

Cinema tickets are just £2 per child & £3 per adult (plus booking fee). Parking is completely free on the back field! Space is limited, so don't miss out.

What to Bring

  • Chairs or blankets to sit on (you’ll be on the grass!)
  • Warm clothes (it might get chilly as the sun sets, so make sure to bring something cozy!)
  • A sense of fun!

What NOT to Bring

  • Alcohol: We kindly ask that alcohol is not brought onto the event site due to licensing regulations. However, to ensure you have a great time, we’ll have a bar on-site, provided by a local company. Please do support them and enjoy a drink responsibly while soaking up the atmosphere! Thank you for your understanding and for supporting local businesses.
  • Large umbrellas or tents: To ensure everyone has a great view, please keep seating area items compact.
  • Food & Drink: Because the Carnival is run entirely by volunteers, we rely heavily on the support of our independent traders to fund the massive digital screens, stages, and essential infrastructure. To ensure the event can continue to survive financially, outside food and drink (with the exception of sealed bottles of water) are not permitted inside the main arena. Thank you so much for supporting our vendors and keeping the Carnival alive!.

Bromsgrove Carnival: The Main Event & Party in the Park

Saturday is our massive, traditional Carnival day, and the park will be absolutely bursting with entertainment from morning until night. Admission to the park on Saturday is completely FREE!

The Grand Parade

  • Time: 12:00 - 1.00 PM
  • Location: Bromsgrove Town Centre

The party officially starts in Bromsgrove Town Centre at midday! Line the streets and wave on our spectacular walking parade as a vibrant wave of colour, music, and community joy winds its way down to Sanders Park.

Live Performances

  • Time: From 12pm
  • Location: Sanders Park Bandstand & Main Stage in Food Village

The Bandstand and Main Stage will be buzzing all day long with incredible performances from local talent. Expect an amazing line-up of choirs, dancers, musicians, and live bands, bringing energy and excitement throughout the day.

The Bandstand: Local Dance & Performances

Come and cheer on the incredible talent we have right here on our doorstep! The Bandstand will be alive all afternoon showcasing brilliant local dancers, performance groups, and clubs from 1pm.

Music lovers are in for a real treat. We have a spectacular lineup of top-tier talent performing throughout the afternoon. We’ve got every single vibe covered for you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunshine!

No festival weekend is complete without incredible food! Our hand-picked selection of brilliant independent street food vendors will be serving up delicious treats all weekend long.

The Feast: Choose from loaded nacho boxes, gourmet burgers, sweet treats, and everything in between.

The Drinks: Grab a refreshing pint or a gin and tonic from our fully licensed bar, or fuel up with a barista-quality coffee from our specialty stalls.

To ensure the event can continue to survive financially, outside food and drink (with the exception of sealed bottles of water) are not permitted inside the main arena. Thank you so much for supporting our vendors and keeping the Carnival alive!

Please note that while wandering the park and market stalls on Saturday is free, you will need a valid ticket to enter the main Food Village and Live Music Stage arena due to licencing. This ticket gives you full access to all the incredible street food vendors, the licensed bar, and our entire lineup of live music throughout Saturday afternoon and evening. Tickets are limited, so make sure to grab yours in advance to guarantee your spot in the festival food & music arena!

Funfair, Market Village & Charity Stalls

  • Time: From 12pm
  • Location: Sanders Park

From the thrills of the traditional funfair rides to the bustling market village, there is something for everyone. Stroll through dozens of independent trade stalls, discover brilliant local craft vendors, and meet the amazing local charities doing vital work in our area.


Parking and Transport

There will be free parking available on-site at Sanders Park, located at the back field and accessed via Whitford Road. This will be clearly signposted. Disabled parking will also be available closer to the event site, accessed from Whitford Road too. Please note, no vehicles will be allowed on-site during the event, so make sure to park in the designated areas.

If you're coming by public transport, Bromsgrove Train Station is a bit further away, but there are local bus routes that will drop you off conveniently in the town centre, which is just a short walk from Sanders Park. We encourage everyone to walk to the event where possible—it’s a great way to enjoy the surroundings and get into the festival spirit!

What to Bring

  • Comfortable shoes (you’ll be walking around all day!)
  • Picnic blankets or chairs for sitting down and enjoying the entertainment
  • Sun protection – sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and anything you need to stay cool! (or waterproof and umbrellas in the event of rain!)
  • A big smile 😊 – we can’t wait to see you there!

What NOT to Bring

  • Alcohol: Please note that alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the site, we do have bars on offer in the food village should you fancy a tipple!.
  • Large umbrellas or tents: These are not allowed to avoid obstructing other attendees.
  • Pets: For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets should be kept to a minimum (except service animals). The event areas can get very busy and crowded and we would hate for our furry friends to get too stressed!
